Today the Ocean Discovery Institute has a $1.1 million annual operating budget, which has grown from $170,000 in 2002. Between 2001 and 2008 our organization has seen year-to-year mean budget growth of 44%.
Our diverse and highly stable base of funding - foundation grants, corporate grants, government grants and contracts, and donations and major gifts from individuals - helps to sustain the work of the organization.
