Ocean Discovery Institute conducts two major education initiatives. The first, Ocean Science Explorers, provides formal, school-based instruction in ocean science at local elementary and middle schools. The second, Ocean Leaders, offers an integrated set of after-school and summer programs and support services that enable students to pursue science-focused or environmentally-focused higher education and careers.
